Purchased for my 8 year old, whom has 4 younger siblings, ages 7, 5, 17 months and 5 months. If we have one on one time its great, if he had "complete" privacy for a few hours, great...however it just didnt fit our busy lifestyle with siblings running around everywhere. It is an awesome concept, ikky goo, that comes in even glow in the dark colors(we bought lots of extra), bake your bugs and you can play with them after they are dry, they dry jelly like though...just not for us
