4-6 Hour Diaper Bag

As a mother of 6, I have learned the in and outs of this diaper bag business.  You always want to be prepared for the unexpected, this will probably be one of your first lessons as a mother.

This diaper bag list is for a any baby 0-18 months.  You can omit my formula suggestions if you are a breastfeeding mom, I suggest a nursing cover or blanket

4-6 diapers cloth or disposable

2 clean bottles pre filled with water and lids popped on*

1 Changing pad

1 bottled water to rinse out your baby bottle*

1 bottle scrubber if you desire

2 powder formula dispensers (make sure you fill the sections, empty will do no good), you can also use a ziploc bag*(twins, just go ahead and keep a small canistar with you at all times, unless you prefer the mess free dispenser.)

1 wipe case or 1 resealable wipe package*

infant mortrin or tylonol drops

gas drop (if your baby needs them)

teething medicine of your choice

infant nail clipper

4 oz trash bags for disposing diapers I keep a whole roll or soiled clothing in (or anything you choose, maybe disposable liners, you may use grocery sacks or even ziplock bags).

1 teether and/or rattle

2 pacifiers (if your child uses one) paci clips are an awesome idea, we have lost far less

2 one pieces, 2 bibs, 1 outfit, 1 pr sock/booties, 1 pr mittens (newborn/seasonal), 1 hat (newborn/seasonal)

2 burp cloths(gerber washable diapers are awesome for this), 2 recieving blankets

Below are options added as your baby grows

1 filled sippy
1 empty sippy
1 ziploc bag with extra snacks
1 snack catcher filled with favorite snacks(by munchkin)
2-4 containers of babyfood
2 baby feeding spoons
2 more bibs(bringing the total bibs to 4)
